Following a number of successful years teaching in his home town of London, Dominic spent 20 years of his career in Switzerland. There he worked at the American International School of Zurich, Zurich International School, and The International School of Zug and Luzern, where he served as Director for 12 years.
Dominic has spoken at numerous conferences on educating adolescents, Board governance and Director evaluation. He has led CIS accreditation teams, been published on the future of the MYP, and served as an ECIS board member for 6 years.
Over the course of his career, Dominic has taught numerous subjects including History, Politics, PE, French, Spanish, and Art History up to A-level, IBDP, AP, GCSE and MYP. During his tenure as Director, he was responsible for a school merger, 4 major building projects, two significant capital campaigns and a ten-fold increase in student numbers.
Dominic holds a BA (Hons) in History and Politics, and an MSc in International Relations from the University of Southampton, and a PGCE from the University of London, Institute of Education.
After completing her BEd (Hons) in Southampton, England, Adrienne returned home to Gibraltar where she taught in a lower primary school.
When she and Dominic married, Adrienne returned to the UK and worked in upper primary schools in both Southampton and London.
In 1996 Dominic and Adrienne moved their young family to Switzerland where they lived for the next 20 years. She taught at the International Primary School of Zurich and was Team Leader for the eight classes in Grades 5 and 6 in Zurich International School.
Adrienne also taught at the International School of Zug and Luzern, where she later joined the Admissions Department and helped families to successfully transition their children to their new school in Switzerland.
Adrienne has experience in both the British National Curriculum and The IB PYP.
Rebecca Steadman, an English and Drama graduate from London University, joined the Search Associates UK team in autumn 2010, first working with David Cope and joining Dominic Currer’s office in 2019.
Rebecca has had a varied career, including time spent in recruitment in the City of London, working for Goldman Sachs, and running a UK-based exhibition organising company for 6 years.
From 1990 to 1992, she lived in Paris where she worked at Disneyland Paris for the run up to its opening in 1991, and for its first year of operation.
She lives in Cambridge with her two sons, and teaches dance fitness exercise classes in her spare time.
